Mr. Bud Brasier began training in martial arts in 1999 with his son, Michael. After a few years of training in Tae Kwon Do and competing in numerous state-wide tournament he was unable to continue he martial arts training due to work commitments.
Mr. Brasier discovered Combat Hapkido in 2006 and has been very involved in this martial art ever since. He received his 3rd Degree Black Belt in Combat Hapkido in 2011 and is the Chief Combat Hapkido Instructor at Family Martial Arts Center. He received his Anatomical Targeting Strategy (pressure points) Instructor certification in 2011.
Mr. Brasier is the ICHF Rocky Mountain Region Business & Marketing Director and is working to help develop, grow and expand Combat Hapkido throughout the region.
Mr. Brasier also founded, and has been managing, Emerging Technology Solutions, Inc. since 1996, which has afforded him the opportunity to travel to more than 40 countries around the world. Mr. Brasier graduated magna cum laude with an MBA in Marketing and Finance from San Jose State University in 1991 and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Park College in Management in 1989. He is a Vietnam era (1973-1977) veteran with the U. S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in July 1977. Mr. Brasier is also an avid scuba diver and is a certified PADI IDC Staff Scuba Diving Instructor.
